Our vision is to maintain our lodge as one having high quality ritual, with compassionate care for our fellow Brethren and wellbeing for all. We want to hear from you if you think that you can help us to do that, either as a new Freemason or as a Joining Member.
As a New Freemason
Becoming a Freemason means you’ll be joining about 175,000 members throughout England and Wales, as well as Districts overseas.
Membership is open to people from all backgrounds and the organisation’s aim is to empower members to be the best they can be – it’s about building character, supporting members as individuals and helping them to better themselves and to make a positive contribution to society. Our ceremonies have remained largely unchanged over the last three centuries or so.

Membership Pathway
The United Grand Lodge of England has prepared the ‘Members’ Pathway’, which provides a structured approach for lodges to follow in order to attract and encourage potential new members whilst at the same time retaining and adding value to the existing membership.
As a new member, this will mean that you will be given a lodge member to help and guide you through the first couple of years of your Masonic Journey.
Starting your Masonic Journey
If you're ready to begin your Masonic Career or just want to know a little more then the first port of call for your will be the Lodge Secretary. He's the guy who looks after all lodge admin but he will be able to put you in touch with our Membership Officer. Don't be put off by the somewhat stuffy title, he's a really nice chap and also the one who's concerned that everything is right for you and your family concerning your joining us.
